International cooperation
The Lisbon School of Architecture commits to internationalization as one of its main vectors of development and innovation. In that sense, our strategy if strongly based on mobility, cooperation and international training.
Besides the outlining of a cooperation policy with emerging geographical areas, capable of promoting a competitiveness profile, the School has insured its presence in international teaching and research networks, and has participated in programmes of attribution of joint degrees and doctoral degrees under a co-tutelage system. In regards to teaching, diverse mobility programmes are available, allowing students, teachers and employees to benefit from an international experience and enrich their academic and scientific curricula, acquiring know-how and skills both at a professional and personal level. The Lisbon School of Architecture holds over 120 general and specific protocols with Higher Education Institutions all over the world. Besides Europe, the School has collaboration agreements with several Latin American countries, such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Chile, with the United States of America and Canada, with PALOP countries (group of Portuguese-speaking African countries) and Morocco, with India, South Korea, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
For the implementation of its internationalization strategy, the Lisbon School of Architecture has the support of the Mobility and Career Office, which insures the development of the international cooperation actions, exchange and integration in active professional life.
