Walda Verbaenen holds an MA in Graphic Design from the international MA program ‘Reading Type & Typography’ at the PXL-MAD School of Arts in Belgium.
She is working as a PhD researcher at READSEARCH, the legibility research group at the PXL-MAD School of Arts and Hasselt University in Belgium. Her main (research) interest is on readability and legibility. The supporting role you can offer as a graphic (type)designer is an important focus in her work. Walda is intrigued by typographic details in historical material.
