BOCA SUMMER SCHOOL
Inicia em breve a 8.ª edição da BoCA Summer School, em Lisboa, programa de workshops de artes performativas, artes visuais e música, dirigido por artistas de prestígio internacional.
Ao longo de 2-3 dias de duração de cada workshop, os participantes podem conhecer, experimentar e mergulhar em diferentes práticas artísticas, linguagens e estéticas.
Com as práticas tradicionais performativas e musicais do coletivo indígena Huni Kuin, com a prática escultórica do fascinante artista visual argentino Gabriel Chaile, ensaios e os desafios que a IA coloca à dança dos coreógrafos e bailarinos Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz e pondo a voz e o corpo à prova com o prestigiado artista queer e “ex-flamenco" Niño del Elche.
Continuando a parceria com a Fundação GDA, os seus cooperadores artistas beneficiam de condições especiais de inscrição.
Já estão abertas as inscrições para os dois primeiros workshops, com o coletivo Huni Kuin, numa parceria da BoCA com o MAAT.

The 8th edition of the BoCA Summer School is starting soon in Lisbon, a programme of workshops in performing arts, visual arts and music, led by internationally renowned artists. Over the 2-3 days of each workshop, participants can get to know, experiment with and immerse themselves in different artistic practices, languages and aesthetics.
We begin with the traditional performance and musical practices of the Huni Kuin indigenous collective, continuing with the sculptural practice of the fascinating Argentinian visual artist Gabriel Chaile, rehearsing the challenges that AI poses to dance with the choreographers and dancers Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz and putting our voices and bodies to the test with the prestigious queer and "ex-flamenco" artist Niño de Elche.
Continuing the partnership with the GDA Foundation, its artist co-operators benefit from special registration conditions.
Registration is now open for the first two workshops, with the Huni Kuin collective, in a partnership between BoCA and MAAT.
